On each second and fourth Monday at 7 p.m., beginning Monday, October 14, 2009, in the Chapel, we will read and talk through a short (245 pages), but powerful book by well known spokesman for the faith, Dallas Willard, titled Knowing Christ Today: Why We Can Trust Spiritual Knowledge. Academic and popular culture both portray Christians as subscribing to doctrines on blind faith, without any foundations in reliable knowledge. Willard shows that this is not so, but that Christian faith at its best is supported by reason and evidence, which reveal the truth about the world and eternity.
